Wilco Wolfers and Caspar Wenckebach announce the Launch of New Film
Hilversum – March 5, 2019 - Wilco Wolfers and Caspar Wenckebach today
launch WW Entertainment, which has signed an agreement with
Entertainment One (eOne) to handle the marketing and distribution of
eOne’s film slate across Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Wolfers, who has served as eOne’s Managing Director – Benelux, Film, has more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Before joining eOne in 2014, Wolfers served as CEO of film distributor A-Film Benelux as well as chairman of the branch organization Nederlandse Vereniging van Filmdistributeurs. He previously served as Managing Director for Warner Bros as well as Commercial Director for The Walt Disney Company. Wolfers has been a staunch supporter of local filmmakers and, in addition to handling eOne films and films from eOne’s core partners around the world, he will continue to support local movies at the highest levels.
Trained as a lawyer in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and having pursued a legal career in the US too, Wenckebach brings broad international experience to the new venture. Wenckebach has more than 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry.

After a successful year with films such as Green Book, Vice, If Beale Street Could Talk and local product Bon Bini Holland 2, Superjuffie, Doris and Verliefd Op Cuba, WW Entertainment will continue with a strong slate of upcoming titles, including A Dog’s Journey, Hotel Mumbai, Judy, Dryrun, 1917, Mees Kees 5, Huisvrouwen Bestaan Niet 2 and Superjuffie 2.
